The best Sporting Events on TV.  You will need Sky Sports.  Sky Sports has a lot of unheard of sports and events that many people miss out on.  This guide will explain sporting events you may not have heard of.

Pool

The best Pool competition on Sky is the Mosconi Cup.  The Mosconi cup is an annual pool competition between Europe and the USA.  Taking place over four days, the Mosconi Cup is pool’s answer to the Ryder Cup as two five man teams representing Europe and the USA do battle in a series of singles and doubles matches. It is a very exciting tournament and is usually very heated.  Much better than snooker in my opinion. The event is run by Matchroom Sports and is held in Vegas and Europe.  Steve Davis is the most famous person who has taken part in this event.

Tenpin

The Webber Cup is held in October every year.  The competition is again between the USA and Europe.  It is a very tense tournament and has been held in Barnsley for the last 10 years.  Matchroom Sports runs this event.

Darts

The PDC annual world championship is held in the month of December every year. Phil the Power Taylor has a ridiculous record of 14 times winner.  

Other darts tournaments to watch are the Las Vegas Desert Classic,  Premier League Darts starting in Feburary each year.  The World Match play and the world Grand prix are other good events to watch.
