What is the best drinking game? Surely one that involves all the good drinking games rolled into one.
The game is called Kings and all you need is a deck of playing cards.
It is a fantastic drinking game that everybody should become well acquainted with.
A glass or mug is placed on a table and a deck of cards are spread face-down around
the glass/mug. Players sit in a circle and take turns to select a card. Specific
cards have specific rules, such as:
Ace: Last person to slap there face is to drink
Two: You. The player picks someone
to drink.
Three: Me. Player drinks.
Four: Four to the floor, last person to touch
the floor drinks.
Five: Five to the sky- last person to put there hand up has to
drink.
Six:- Six fingers. Nominate 6 fingers around the circle.
Seven: Bottles. Starting
with the card selector, the group 'counts', with every number ending in or multiple
of seven being replaced with the word 'bottle'. As the word 'bottle' is said, the
order of the counting is reversed.
Eight: Pick a mate - the person who picks the
card chooses someone and that person has to drink every time the card selector drinks.
Nine:
Bust-a-rhyme. The person who picks the card start of by saying a phrase, eg I went
for a Walk. The next guy has to rhyme the last word like a poem, eg He also likes
to talk, and it goes round the circle until someone can not think of anything to
say.
Ten: Rule Card, you make up a new drinking rule, eg International drinking rules
Jack: Categories. A category is picked, such as 'makes of caravan' or 'cloud types',
and names of such things in the category are given until someone repeats or cannot
think of something to say.
Queen: Question Master. The card selector until another
queen is picked is the Question Master. If he/she asks anyone a question they can
not answer the question but can say F*** off. If they answer the question they have
to drink.
King: Donation. A decent amount of whatever the player is drinking is poured
into the glass/mug in the middle. The person who picks up the fourth king chugs the
'King's Cup'.
Other house rules can be added on, for example: If a male picks up the
fourth king, he must not only down the King's Cup, but the remnants of everybody
else's drink too.
